Turns out, all I needed was a little Julie & Julia to get me back in the kitchen. Eggplant parmesan is my new favorite thing. (It may not be French, but you work with what you have.)

What a fabulous idea! Julie and Julia would definitely make me want to cook more. I find that brainstorming exciting things to make (or just searching Epicurious) makes me more apt to cook.
I definitely need to start researching recipes again!
And see, I thought that movie was just too dang long.
Unfortunately it’s Cupcake Wars that makes me want to hit the kitchen.
And now I want Buttercups. Yummmmmmmm.
Have I mentioned that I was in “Julie and Julia”? You see me for, like, two whole seconds. Love that movie.
Awesome! What scene? The only movie I’ve ever been in was a crappy made-for-TV movie called The Initiation of Sarah. I was an extra. They cropped my head out. But my shirt made an appearance!
I was working at Centenary when they made The Initiation of Sarah!
Cool!
It’s right after she meets the women she’ll end up writing with. They’re all in the powder room at some swanky party, and then they walk into another room together. Just as they reach the doorway, I walk past them on the left and totally bump the one woman’s shoulder. My family recognized my hair!
Nice work on the shirtbomb.
I’ll have to pay more attention next time I watch!
