I’m not really a fan of Mondays. I enjoy my job, but I enjoy my free time more. And it seems like I never truly get into the groove of the weekend until Sunday night, just in time for it to be over.
But a couple of weeks ago, Jadyn wrote about Mondays as a fresh beginning and a new chance to make the week count. I hadn’t really thought of it that way before, and it really stuck with me.
So I think I’ll try to start Mondays off on the bright side. Care to join me?

All right, you got me. It’s totally cheating to start this on Memorial Day, but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?
So, on the bright side, today doesn’t actually count as Monday, and it’s a 4-day work week. Hooray!
How do you feel about Mondays?

Love/hate. Yes, it’s a chance to start over, but it also means The Guy has to go back to work, where he can’t hang out with me all day! (Which may or may not be a good thing from his perspective
Chi say WHY MEAN LADY NO APPRECIATE COMPANY OF CHIHUAHUA?! WHAT SO GREAT ABOUT MR. BALD MAN?
Fortunately I never know what day of the week it is while I’m on maternity leave.
But rather unfortunately those days are starting to whittle away.
Mostly, I despise Mondays. They would be better if there was at least a decent tv show on that night…
Pretty Little Liars used to be a Monday night show, but they’re moving it to Tuesday. I say boo on them.
I once read a book where one of the main characters designated Monday as her me-time night. She DVR’ed all of her shows and watched them on Monday night. All of her friends knew not to bother her then. I thought it wasn’t a bad idea, until I remembered there’s no way I’d wait to watch a new episode of True Blood or Grey’s Anatomy.
Aw, Lisa, I am glad you liked the post! Thanks for the shout-out. xo
Thanks for the inspiration!
