Lately I can’t get enough of golden eye shadow paired with a pop of pretty pink lips. I love how the shimmery golden copper shade of Mac Gold Stroke hints at summer, but its deep brown and plum undertones keep it neutral enough for spring. With Tarte’s glossy berry pink Lip Luster in Pouty, this pair brings the glowy, natural look of summer together with the bright, polished look of spring.
What are your pretty picks for today?
P.S. I couldn’t find Gold Stroke online, but I recently bought it at my local MAC counter.

Is this all yours? The copy and everything? Is this what you do for a living, or are you just crazytalented at your hobby? I love it!
Awww, thanks! Yup, it’s all mine! I work as a graphic designer at a print shop. I also edit/write for jobs as needed and write for the newsletter/Facebook.
Love it! I like how you connect the colors to the seasons – I would have never thought of that. By the way, I like the new website Lisa!
Thanks! With makeup, I like to play with different colors year-round, but I do tend to gravitate toward certain color families each season. It’s nice to change up your go-to look every once in a while!
ARGH! I can’t believe they don’t have Gold Stroke online! It sounds fantastic. This is me going to Dillard’s this weekend.
It’s so pretty. If you get it, be sure to try it wet — even prettier!
