Explore Paris, find something to write home about, or read secrets of inspiring women (seriously, go read them — amazing). You didn’t have anything else to do today, did you?

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have already seen this luxury resort in the Maldives, but I think it’s worth sharing again. I’m thinking this is probably what heaven looks like, and if not, I might want my money back. And, the colors! Could they have chosen a more perfect palette? I just love the way the orange pops against the turquoise water, and how the neutrals balance it all out. Makes for a pretty Friday Fancies outfit, don’t you think? (And yes, I’m still stuck on maxi dresses.) Happy weekend!

After Sarah introduced us to Giraffe Manor on Monday, I thought we should take a closer look. Built in the 1930s just outside of Nairobi, the boutique hotel has stayed true to its history in the decor. But obviously the stars of the show are the giraffes that wander freely on the grounds, joining you at the breakfast table or greeting you at your bedroom window. If that’s not enough, the manor is also home to an elephant orphanage that rescues and rehabilitates baby elephants and rhinos. How magical would it be to wake up with giraffes outside your window?! A little startling, yes, but definitely an experience of a lifetime. What do you think?
