Have you heard of Downton Abbey? My friend told me to watch it a month ago, and I finally got around to it last week . . . and then watched it all over again. Officially obsessed. Reasons you should be watching (if you aren’t already):

I don’t have cable but I will have to netflix it! I just started watched the first season of True Blood and I’m hooked. I’m also still ashamedly into Gossip Girl and I watch Gilmore Girls reruns. Other than that I don’t watch TV but I’ve seen a few episodes of the Office and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia that I like. I haven’t seen but the first scene, but Portlandia looks hilarious.
All of season 1 is on Netflix! Season 2 premiered last Sunday on PBS. That episode is on their website, and the season continues Sundays at 8.
I LOVE True Blood!! Just wait until you get to Season 4. I’m still not over that finale, and it was in September. The books are good too — it’s based on the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
I was just telling my sister that I am intrigued by this series, but haven’t watched it yet. I will have to for sure now! Series I am obsessed with are Grey’s Anatomy, Pan Am (sadly cancelled but I will enjoy the rest of the episodes that will be airing!), Once Upon a Time and New Girl. Wow…that looks like a lot now that I see them all typed out.
Good TV is such a nice way to relax though…
I’m watching it! I’m on episode 5 on Netflix, I believe. I was super-confused about when it was set because of the clothes and the subject matter, though. I thought it had to be set in the 1800s because they’re so backward-thinking, but then there were flapper dresses and electricity and . . . it didn’t make sense. But I love it!
