If I had to sum up my web design work in one simple way, it’s this: I want you to be recognized for the amazing work you do.

When it comes to online business, it makes me sad to see beautiful work hidden behind an ugly website.

You deserve better.

I believe everyone should have the opportunity to do what they love for a living. And it starts with a website you can be proud of.

(And, for bonus points, one that works so well you can focus on other things — like doing more amazing work!)

That’s why I do what I do.

Care to join me?

Here's how it works:

01

Contact me to get the conversation started. I want to hear all about your business and how your website fits in with your goals — and I how I can help you make them happen. From there, I’ll provide an estimate for the work, and we’ll get started!

02

Once you book your project, you’ll receive all the details for your project, plus a special invitation to your own board in my project management system so we can start swapping ideas!

03

Then, it’s time for the real work to begin! I’ll review your design questionnaire and inspiration for your project and share my initial thoughts and recommendations. That way you’ll know we’re on the same page before we jump into the design.

04

Then it’s time for the part you’ve been waiting for — mockups of your new, beautiful design. We start with your home page to perfect your overall branding and site design, then dive into the details of the rest of the pages to get everything just right.

05

Once the complete design is approved, it’s time for you to relax and let me handle the rest! I’ll code your new design (and nerd out over ways to make it super easy for you to use), then you’ll have the chance to look over everything before launch.

06

Then, we’ll schedule a date for launch, and celebrate your brand new site! I’ll package up your brand guide and instructions, so you’ll have everything you need to keep your visuals consistent and your website running smoothly. No more website shame for you, my friend! It’s time to let your work really shine.

But you don’t have to take my word for it . . .

She understands how to make your site work for you, your visitors, and your business.

“It was a true pleasure to work with Lisa. I’ve worked with many designers on sites big and small and have never before had such a smooth design and build process as with Elembee. Lisa asks all the the right questions, is preemptive in solving problems before they can even exist, and understands how to make your site work for you, your visitors, and your business. I couldn’t be happier with my new site.”

A clean, contemporary design that totally reflects my brand and I have no doubt will be a large factor in my getting new work.

“Lisa has not only created a beautiful website for me that I’m enormously proud of but she has also been incredibly proactive, supportive, patient and thorough during the design and development process. I have received very positive feedback to my new site and this is entirely down to Lisa’s vision, design and flawless implementation. She has taken my vague and fuzzy ideas and delivered a clean, contemporary design that totally reflects my brand and I have no doubt will be a large factor in my getting new work. I have already passed on Lisa’s details to my colleagues and friends and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a well crafted and beautiful web presence.”

So, what does it cost?

Projects generally range from $2500-$5000 depending on the number of pages you need designed and the complexity of functionality for development. Here are a few starting points for reference:

  • Blog design starts at $2500
  • Website design starts at $3000
  • Website + blog design starts at $4000

Before you book your project, we’ll discuss your specific needs, then I’ll make my recommendations and provide an estimate.

What you’ll receive:

  • An initial phone conversation, so you can get your questions answered, before you book.
  • A questionnaire and review of your goals (so I can help you actually make them happen), your needs (so you can stop wasting time on the maintenance issues that annoy you), and your preferences (so I can make your design as stylish as you are!).
  • Mockups of your site design, so we can perfect all those little details and bring your vision to life.
  • WordPress development, so you can easily add and change content yourself — without messing with code.
  • Installation of recommended plugins, to help you keep your site safe, secure, and running easy.
  • Brand guide and instruction manual, so you have the know-how to keep your visuals consistent and your website up-to-date.

Questions? I've got answers.

How long does it take?
Timeline depends on the complexity of your project, but you can generally expect blog design + development to take 8-10 weeks from your project start date, and website and blog/site design + development to take 10-12 weeks.

How does payment work?
When you book your project, you’ll pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of your project cost to secure your spot on the schedule. The remaining balance is split into two equal payments of 40% of your project cost, one due before design begins on your project start date, and final payment due after the design is approved and before development begins.

Do you accept credit cards or PayPal?
Yes. You’ll receive invoices through Freshbooks with an option to pay via credit card or PayPal, or you may send a check via mail.

When can we get started?
My schedule is usually booked one to three months in advance. I’ll give you an estimated start date when we discuss your project, and once you sign your contract and pay your deposit, you’ll be added to the schedule.

Do you work with Blogger?
Sorry, I only design for WordPress. However, I’m happy to migrate your blog from Blogger! (I promise it’s not as scary as you think. At least not when I help you!)

Once I saw the end product, it truly blew my mind.

“I had such an amazing experience working with Lisa. I had never worked on branding a website, let alone my very own blog, and I was a little nervous because I wanted it to be perfect. The best part of working with Lisa was her ability to make the process so easy and fun. She was able seamlessly to take my ideas and create something that outdid my expectations consistently. And once I saw the end product, it truly blew my mind. I couldn’t believe I finally had something so pretty and functional to call my very own. I am so proud of my site and I can’t wait to work with her again someday!”
